5 Straight Wins for Quakers
|
The Philadelphia Quakers picked up a win at San Diego Sporting Complex, knocking off the San Diego Captains, 3-1. On the mound for Philadelphia was left-hander Pat Graham, who played a pivotal role in the win. Philadelphia has now won 5 games in a row.
Alejandro Rebolledo, the 23-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rebolledo contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Philadelphia up, 2-0.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Philadelphia manager Jeff Green said.
