Los Angeles Roughed Up By Eagles
A 6-RBI performance from the 29-year old catcher George Kill helped the Washington Eagles beat the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 8-1. The Eagles now own a record of 24-39.

With Washington leading 4-1 in the top of the eighth, Kill hit a changeup from Billy Duprey for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Eagles ahead, 8-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Kill.
