Denver Burros starter Bart Dunsley pitched a strong game against the Los Angeles Blockbusters at Gates Crescent Park, leading the Burros to victory, 8-4. The win puts Denver at 5-3.

Tom Gregory was 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Denver. The 26-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Fred Wild. It was his 1st walk of the season.

"I'm happy we won," said Dunsley. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
