Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Houston Drillers and Twin Cities Northmen.

The Houston Drillers got a stellar effort from pitcher Syed Farooqi, helping Houston score a win over the visiting Twin Cities Northmen, 3-2. Houston has won 4 straight, while Twin Cities has lost 3 in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Houston pinch hitter Rich Lewis, facing Ben Hall, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Drillers the 3-2 win.

"We were in it," said Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim. "We just didn't score enough runs."
