Payton Helps Lords Run Win Streak to 7
|
The Baltimore Lords grabbed a win, 6-1, over the San Francisco Seagulls at Seton Hill Stadium. Baltimore left fielder Tom Payton belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Larry Diego was the winner. Over 8 innings, he yielded 1 run on 6 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. The 5th-place Lords have won 7 straight games.
