Northmen first baseman Irv Olson left his imprint on his team's 9-2 win over the Houston Drillers. Olson went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Twin Cities in the contest. Twin Cities has now won 3 straight, while the Drillers have lost 4 in a row.

Early in the game, Olson had a 3-run home run for Twin Cities. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Northmen on top, 3-0.
