Lopez Leads Los Angeles Past New York
|
The Los Angeles Blockbusters eked out a 1-0 win versus the New York Knickerbockers at Blockbuster Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Fernando Lopez. He was terrific. The Blockbusters raised their record to 28-41.
Lopez scattered 7 hits over 8.2 innings for the Blockbusters. With the win, Lopez moves to 2-6 on the year with 52 strikeouts.
"Some games build character," said Los Angeles manager John Trausch. "Like this one."
