The performance of Mike McGurn proved critical in helping Twin Cities beat Toronto, 4-3. The Northmen first baseman was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The defeat makes Toronto 28-41.
Rick Giardina was the walk-off hero for Twin Cities. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Northmen catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
