Moret Reaches 300 Mark
|
It's official. Guillaume Moret of the Denver Burros hit his 300th home run tonight.
The Denver Burros took on the Chicago Traders and downed them 14-2, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Moret. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.
"300 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Burros puzzle."
The Burros right fielder went 2-for-5 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI as the Denver Burros topped the Chicago Traders.
In his career, Moret is batting .312 with 1619 hits, 300 home runs, 1313 runs scored and 759 RBIs.
