The Milwaukee Dairymen earned a win at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, knocking off the Pittsburgh Industrials, 7-4. On the bump for Milwaukee was right-hander Andy Campbell. He had a starring role in the triumph. Campbell yielded 4 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 7-6. Milwaukee is last in the National Baseball League Western Division with a record of 28-43.

The Dairymen got a big at-bat from shortstop Cliff Bragg. For the game, Bragg was 1-4 with a triple. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Milwaukee a 1-0 lead.
