Knickerbockers Suffer 10-4 Loss to Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Blockbusters trumped the New York Knickerbockers, 10-4, at Blockbuster Stadium. Los Angeles center fielder Rob Norton was terrific. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3. Bruce Shone picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-1. He struck out 4 in 6.1 innings. The Blockbusters improved to 29-41.

Bill May helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 4-2, Blockbusters.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said May.
