Brookins Stars as Blockbusters Top Knickerbockers, 8-5
The Los Angeles Blockbusters stopped the New York Knickerbockers, 8-5, at Knickerbocker Stadium. The Blockbusters got a big game from Jim Brookins, who went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Tom Benson got credit for the save for Los Angeles.
