Flatbush Park was the site for National Baseball League action featuring the Brooklyn Bluebirds and Pittsburgh Industrials.

Pittsburgh starter Jerry Zaruba kept the Brooklyn offense under clamps, while his team rolled to victory, 13-0. Zaruba got the win, improving to 6-5. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs.

Pittsburgh second baseman Rob Isenbarger contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 86th hit of the season and put the Industrials ahead, 6-0.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Isenbarger.

The loss makes Brooklyn 41-29.
