Behind a solid performance from first baseman John Sledd, the Chicago Traders defeated the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 3-2. Sledd was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Traders. The winning pitcher was 26-year old left-handed pitcher Dennis Strzelczyk.
