Gates Crescent Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Denver Burros and Milwaukee Dairymen.

The Denver Burros topped the Milwaukee Dairymen, 5-4, in 12 innings at Gates Crescent Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Denver center fielder Jim Bitting. Milwaukee now owns a losing streak of 7 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Denver shortstop Bobby Raley, facing Denny Grissinger, had a run-scoring strikeout. It gave the Burros the 5-4 win.

"We've hit a lull," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley.
