Lindstrom Visits Children at Cancer Treatment Center Thursday, April 20th , 1972 Northmen reliever Rick Lindstrom took time out from his busy schedule today to visit a local children's cancer treatment center. Lindstrom signed autographs and took pictures with many of the young patients. He even gave several of them caps, jerseys, and gloves. "Just seeing the smiles on these kids' faces, knowing what they've gone through, it just warms your heart", said a beaming Lindstrom. When asked who his favorite player was, one little boy smiled broadly and exclaimed, "Rick Lindstrom!" |
