Bobcats Win, 5-0, as Baird Mystifies San Diego Sunday, May 16th , 1976 In a remarkable performance, Cleveland Bobcats starter Myron Baird beat the San Diego Captains, 5-0, in an impressive 6-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Bobcats hurler finished with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," San Diego manager Joe Mack said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
