Los Angeles, Pittsburgh Deal Made Monday, January 1st , 1973 Los Angeles and Pittsburgh have agreed in principle to a trade. The Pobladores will send a 3rd round draft pick to the Industrials for 26-year old RF Richie Lord. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. In his 565-game career Lord has tagged 529 hits with 98 doubles, 23 triples and 45 home runs. His lifetime batting average is .262 with 231 RBIs and 237 runs scored. |
