DeFalco Agrees to 4-Year Pact with Chicago Hawks Tuesday, January 23rd , 1973 Buck DeFalco stepped before the podium this afternoon with Chicago officials flanking him on both sides as he doffed the Hawks cap and announced he'd reached an agreement to play in Chicago for 4 years. The deal, an estimated $1,920,000 in total, is widely seen as a positive move for an organization and an upgrade. DeFalco has a career .275 average with 1634 hits, including 220 doubles, 92 triples and 142 homers, collected 635 RBIs, scored 852 runs and compiled a .336 OBP. |
