LF Dave Deschamps Settles on Baltimore Monday, February 1st , 1971 In a move expected to bring depth to the Lords, Baltimore brass announced the signing today of left fielder Dave Deschamps. Deschamps will be pocketing $212,000 per season, an amount some BNN analysts think might be too high. Deschamps is batting .234 with 896 career base hits, including 130 doubles, 40 triples and 107 home runs with 469 RBIs and 486 runs scored. He has played in 1230 games, stolen 71 bases and compiled a .329 OBP. |
