Bryan's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Wednesday, May 29th , 1963 The Pittsburgh Industrials trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Hillyer Bryan's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Industrials right fielder is being treated for a strained muscle in his leg. During a routine exam, Bryan's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 3 weeks. For the season Bryan is batting .226 with 7 hits and no home runs. He has scored 1 times and batted in 6. |
