Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Hatton Saturday, June 1st , 1963 Don Hatton, Packers standout shortstop, will be sidelined for a while due to back tightness. He was injured while running the bases in yesterday's game against the Quakers. Hatton called it "a day-to-day thing" and said he hoped to be back in action soon. So far this season Hatton is batting .236 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 182 at-bats, 21 walks and a .332 OBP. Hatton has played in 49 games. |
