Frank Governor 'excited' for the upcoming season after finding another level of velocity Tuesday, March 4th , 1975 This offseason, Frank Governor took his game to another level by achieving a significant increase in his pitching velocity. After spending months fine-tuning his mechanics and focusing on explosive strength, Governor has emerged with a noticeable bump in speed, positioning him for a strong year with the Baltimore Lords organization. Working closely with the team's performance staff, Frank Governor revamped his training regimen, focusing on building power from the ground up. Through targeted strength training, mobility work, and explosive movement drills, he was able to speed up his delivery and add torque. The results? A primary pitch that now regularly hits new highs, with his secondary pitches gaining more life and movement as well. “I’ve put in a lot of work this offseason to push my velocity higher, and it’s been amazing to see that pay off,” Frank Governor said. “I feel stronger, and my stuff has more bite.
