Packers, Wranglers Agree to Swap Monday, May 29th , 1967 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Packers announced today the acquisition of 30-year old 3B Rod Wagner from the Dallas Wranglers in exchange for a 5th round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Packers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams."
