Denver Sends Clarke to Cleveland Monday, March 26th , 1973 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Denver and Cleveland have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 19-year old LF Phil Clarke to the Bobcats with a 5th round draft pick joining the Burros. Denver general manager Clark Anderson would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. |
