Luna Bags ABL Best Player Award Monday, April 21st , 1975 It was an extraordinary week for Jorge Luna of the Toronto Hurons. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .444, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Baseball League. Last week Luna went 8-for-18, racked up 4 home runs and 11 RBIs and scored 9 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Toronto center fielder. |
