Bad News for Austin and Atlanta Wednesday, April 13th , 1977 Team doctors reported that the pace of recovery for Gary Austin has been hampered by several recent setbacks and they have reassessed his injury situation. If all goes well, the Atlanta Generals second baseman should rejoin the club in 3-4 weeks. Austin is suffering from a torn leg muscle. |
