More Injury Problems For Brooklyn's McAllister Weeks Sunday, August 23rd, 1953 McAllister Weeks was taking it slow and easy nursing strained muscles in his rib cage back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Brooklyn team official, "McAllister was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout."
