Fulton Wins ABL Best Player Award Monday, July 5th , 1965 Bill Fulton had a week for the ages as he romped to the American Baseball League Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 35-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Los Angeles Pobladores second baseman hit .414 last week as he chalked up 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. So far this year Fulton has hit .259 with 21 home runs, 50 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
