Klug Nets NBL #1 Pitcher Award Tuesday, May 1st , 1973 The National Baseball League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to relief specialist Darrell Klug of Philadelphia for his outstanding work on the mound. The Philadelphia reliever had 4 saves, pitched 17.2 innings, struck out 10 and walked 4 on the way to a 4-1 mark and a 1.02 ERA. |
