Philadelphia-Kansas City Announce Deal Monday, May 16th , 1977 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Quakers and Bulls have consummated a trade. Kansas City will receive 27-year old RHP Chuck Galloway and a 3rd round draft pick in a swap for 28-year old 3B Roger Turner. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." This season, Galloway has compiled a 2-4 record with a 5.71 ERA. Currently Turner has 2 home runs and a .294 batting average. |
