Bad News for Paige and Philadelphia Wednesday, May 25th , 1977 Philadelphia Quakers second baseman Ron Paige informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from a gluteus strain. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Paige admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Quakers doctors told BNN Paige would not return for one week. This year, Paige is batting .298 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
