Richardson Crafts 2-0 Shutout Tuesday, July 25th , 1967 Jackie Richardson had the Los Angeles Blockbusters dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 2-0 shutout performance for the Brooklyn Bluebirds. He gave up 3 hits, issued no walks and had 5 strikeouts. Los Angeles hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager John Trausch said. "We just never figured him out."
