Hudson Wins ABL Player of the Week Monday, June 20th , 1977 Not every ball that came off Ed Hudson's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Montreal Habitants. For his exploits, Hudson was named this week's American Baseball League Player of the Week award. The Montreal third baseman put up 13 hits in 24 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .542 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Thus far this year, Hudson is batting .370 with 12 home runs, 41 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
