Patrick Takes Charge, Blanks Twin Cities, 1-0 Friday, June 24th , 1977 Jerry Patrick was dynamite at Mission Field, blowing away the Twin Cities Northmen in a shutout victory. The San Francisco Seagulls starter had everything working as he held the Northmen to 5 hits in the 1-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Twin Cities skipper Jason Gudim. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Patrick finished the game with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.
