Someone Got Busted! Kevin Campbell Pays for Clubhouse Mishap Thursday, June 7th , 1973 Apparently the St. Louis kangaroo court really is in effect. Youngster Kevin Campbell was fined $100 by judge Bernie Underwood for the seemingly harmless infraction of stepping on the team logo in the middle of the clubhouse floor. "That's a big no-no," Underwood said. "Come on, you should know better than that - walk around the logo!" Other teammates agreed as Campbell hung his head in shame and grudgingly forked over the $100 bill. "Let this serve as a lesson," added Underwood. "Don't mess with the kangaroo court or you will pay!" |
