Los Angeles Comes up Empty Against Gilmore
Friday, June 8th , 1973
Barry Gilmore kept the Los Angeles Pobladores hitters from doing much damage at San Vicente Park.

Los Angeles could only muster 2 hits and draw 3 walks against the right-handed Gilmore, who controlled them throughout the game. Dallas won the contest, 3-0. Gilmore added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Gilmore told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."

So far this season, Gilmore has a 8-2 record, 14 starts, 110 innings, 97 strikeouts and a 1.39 ERA.
