Carter Holds Bobcats Scoreless

Skip Carter was dynamite at Independence Field, blowing away the Cleveland Bobcats in a shutout victory. The Kansas City Bulls starter had everything working as he held the Bobcats to 4 hits in the 4-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Cleveland skipper Daniel Mays. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Carter finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks.
