30-Game Hitting Streak for Armstrong Wednesday, May 12th, 1954 Joe Armstrong went 2-for-4 in the 4-3 Baltimore Lords victory over the Toronto Hurons at Toronto Park today. Armstrong declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 30 games. Joe Armstrong doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season Armstrong is batting .396 with 2 home runs. |
