Cleveland Sends Nolin to Baltimore Monday, July 31st , 1972 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Cleveland Bobcats and Baltimore Lords has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 19-year old 1B Carroll Nolin to Baltimore in return for 34-year old LF Dave Deschamps. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. This season, Deschamps is hitting at a .203 pace with 8 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 34 times. |
