Church Sparkles in 6-0 Shutout Friday, August 21st , 1970 Denver's Dave Church breezed through the Explorers lineup, 3-hitting them in a shutout victory, 6-0. Church fanned 3, as well. "I didn't really feel like I had my A-game today," Church confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
