Scheideler Week's #1 Player Monday, July 22nd , 1974 It was an extraordinary week for Woodie Scheideler of the Baltimore Lords. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .478, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Baseball League. Last week Scheideler went 11-for-23, racked up 5 home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Baltimore third baseman. Scheideler is currently hitting at a .282 pace with 9 home runs, 41 RBIs and has scored 38 times. |
