Ragsdale Shuts Out Boston, 9-0

In a remarkable performance, San Francisco Seagulls starter Pete Ragsdale beat the Boston Terriers, 9-0, in an impressive 6-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Seagulls hurler finished with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," Boston manager David Molina said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
For the season, Ragsdale has compiled a 10-6 record with a 3.05 ERA.
