Bad News for Los Angeles, Ernie Ronnebaum Hurt Sunday, August 6th , 1972 The Los Angeles Blockbusters will be without the services of Ernie Ronnebaum for one week after an incident in a game against the St. Louis Explorers. The 27-year-old left fielder was injured while running the bases and suffered a strained calf muscle. For the year, Ronnebaum has hit at a .302 clip with 50 RBIs, 19 home runs and 49 runs scored. |
