Industrials Steinhauer Lost for Year
Saturday, September 4th , 1976
The news is bad in Pittsburgh. The Industrials have lost the services of starting pitcher Gene Steinhauer for the rest of the season due to a ruptured tendon in his arm. Steinhauer was injured in a recent game with the Brooklyn Bluebirds while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 5-6 months.

In 26 starts this year, Steinhauer has crafted a 6-11 record and a 3.79 ERA.
