ABL Top Pitcher Award for July to Gilmore Thursday, August 1st , 1974 When Barry Gilmore takes the hill, chances are good for a Dallas victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-2 mark and 1.74 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 51.2 innings, fanned 48 and held others clubs to a .207 average. That's why the Wranglers star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the American Baseball League. This season, Gilmore has compiled a 16-2 record with a 1.63 ERA. |
