NBL Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Ronnebaum Tuesday, September 1st , 1970 Ernie Ronnebaum said it was "focus and determination" that led him to winning the August Batter of the Month award for the National Baseball League. Whatever it was, the Los Angeles right fielder could not be denied, hitting .382 with 12 home runs, 27 RBIs and 28 runs scored to round out his great month. On the season, Ronnebaum is batting .317 with 44 home runs and 99 RBIs. He has played in 120 games. |
