ABL's #1 Player, Plumley of Detroit Monday, September 13th , 1976 Jerry Plumley is respected by most Detroit Wolverines fans for his no-frills style of play. The 29-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the American Baseball League Player of the Week honors.
