Ovitt Spins 3-0 Shutout Against Baltimore Friday, June 27th , 1975 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Baltimore Lords as starter Gary Ovitt shut them out, 3-0, at Seton Hill Stadium. The Atlanta pitcher struck out 2 and walked 0 while allowing 5 hits. "Ovitt was good but he wasn't flawless," Baltimore manager Steve Read said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Atlanta, but this is on us."
