Valerio Voted June's Rookie Trophy Tuesday, July 1st , 1975 The National Baseball League scribes have selected June's Rookie of the Month and have awarded the honor to Antonio Valerio of Brooklyn. For the month of June the 23-year-old Valerio recorded a 2-2 won-lost mark with a 0.96 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 37.1 innings. Over the season Valerio has thrown 100 innings and dished out 57 strikeouts with a 3-7 mark and a 2.88 ERA. |
