Ed Campbell Out for Season Wednesday, July 2nd , 1975 Ed Campbell has to call it a season. The Baltimore Lords catcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Montreal Habitants and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Campbell was injured while colliding with a player at home plate. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured finger tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. To date Campbell has chalked up a .159 average with no home runs, driven in 3 runs and scored 3 times. |
